Kate Willshaw, Policy Officer at Friends of the Lake District was the guest speaker at our AGM on January 27th, 2022. The slides are self-explanatory and give a good overview of the process so far and a critique of it.
There was a very lively discussion after Kate’s presentation and it was decided that we should work on supporting parishes and parish councils to show their opposition to being part of the Areas of Search without being consulted or giving consent. If you’d like to get involved, do get in touch.
